October 17 - Jake Shimabukuro in Concert
Save the date for the Japanese Friendship Garden’s annual Aki no Matsuri “Fall Festival” on Sunday, October 17th. This year will feature a concert by world-renowned ukulele artist, Jake Shimabukuro, a Japanese-American who hails from Honolulu, Hawaii. The concert will take place at the beautiful restored historic Balboa Theatre located at Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego.

Tickets will be available in July through the Garden at (619) 232-2721 or San Diego Civic Theatre Box Office at (619) 570-1100. Tickets are $ 22, $ 37, and *$ 52. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Japanese Friendship Garden’s expansion project.
