Academic Study of Japanese Food

This questionnaire is designed to further the understanding of what exactly Japanese food is from an every day perspective. Both Japanese nationals/citizens as well as Japanese-Americans are invited to participate in this study to determine first if there is a difference between the types of foods one considers Japanese, how it manifests itself, and why that difference comes about. The study is part of an undergraduate honors thesis at University of California, San Diego. If you are interested in volunteering for the questionnaire, it is online at the following websites: (For Japanese citizens or nationals): http://tinyurl.com/japanfoodsurvey (For Japanese-Americans): http://tinyurl.com/jafoodsurvey If you are interested in being interviewed for approximately an hour and a half, or have questions, please contact Jessica Shindo at (415) 320 - 7893 or by email: jshindo@ucsd.edu
