2016 JUMP Event Report

On Tuesday, June 14 the Japan Society went to Petco Park to see the San Diego Padres take on the Miami Marlins. We were able to share in this amazing event with members of the US Navy as well as sailors from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. This fun event was part of the annual Japan US Military Program (“JUMP”), which connects past and present service members, families, and government civilians who have served in Japan.  JUMP provides a powerful foundation for sustaining the solid alliance and relationship that exists between the US and Japan through various social networks and events. Everyone had a wonderful time watching the game together while drinking and eating traditional ballpark fare. We even got to see the famous Japanese baseball player Ichiro Suzuki bat. We hope that everyone who attended the event had a great time and we can’t wait to see you all again at next year’s JUMP event!

Thank you for attending!

Thank you everyone for attending our 14th Annual Beer & Sake Festival at Harrah’s Resort SoCal!
