Japan Society of San Diego & Tijuana

14th Annual AJ Cup Golf Tournament

The AJ Cup is named in honor of Mr. Arthur Jonishi, 2002 recipient of the JSSDT Business Leadership Award. AJ was instrumental in choosing San Diego as the home for Kyocera, the first Japanese-parented manufacturing company in California. In addition, he helped establish and served as the first chairman of Minato Gakuen, a school for children of all Japanese expatriate families in the San Diego/Tijuana region.
